Archeology:
Follow the 16 station round course through Bitburg which presents the remains of the castle Vicus Beda dating back to late antiquity, parts of which are still in their original Roman state while others are preserved in their medieval state (stops 5-10, 13-16).
A model of the Roman castle can be seen at the entrance of the town hall (Rathaus).
